Description: The Geneva-Tsinghua Initiative Master in Innovation, Human Development and Sustainability (IHDS) are pleased to invite you to the global plastic pollution challenge Hackathon taking place on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 October 2019 at the Campus Biotech in Geneva (Switzerland). This is a 2-day event to explore innovative and sustainable solutions to tackle plastic pollution.

This event will define problems and potential solutions to plastic pollution issues that will be tested this autumn in 6-week innovation projects by master students in Innovation, Human Development and Sustainability. Our goal is to produce 10 high-quality concepts that will contribute to ongoing efforts to reduce plastic consumption, production and pollution.

If you are a student, graduate, activist, government, international expert or industry leader working on global plastic consumption, production, management or pollution and are interested in exploring creative and innovative solutions on plastic pollution issues, this event is for you!
