Description: On the occasion of the 38th Observance of World Food Day (WFD), the Permanent Missions of Guyana, Maldives, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP) will be hosting a Panel Discussion under the theme "Progress and constraints in ending hunger and malnutrition in Small States" on October 16th at 10h00 at the Palais des Nations.

The Panel Discussion will be followed by an Exhibition and Reception, where foods from the aforementioned countries will be served.
Additionally, FAO, the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Partage Foundation will be hosting an exhibition at Cornavin train station to highlight the progress and challenges in achieving Zero Hunger (SDG2) and to encourage the public to do their part to end hunger and malnutrition. Throughout the day, public figures will distribute the "Partage soup" made from unsold vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.
