International Gender Champions is an initiative co-founded by Women@theTable, UN Geneva, and the Permanent Mission of the United States of America in Geneva that has leaders of international organizations and companies commit to several practical actions - such as panel parity, training, good recruitment processes - that enhance gender equality in the workplace.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has a growing body of research on gender issues in Intellectual Property and patents.
Equality between genders (SDG 5) has sweeping positive effects on the global workforce (SDG 8), and communities (SDG 11). Good governance (SDG 16), technology (SDG 9) and education (SDG 4) can all be enabling forces for achieving gender equality.
